Authors Instructions

Instructions

Authors are invited to submit electronically, through the workshop e-mail address raad09@cimr.pub.ro, the full paper in format for publication before March 2, 2009. Before submitting the final version of their papers (due before April 13, 2009) the authors will be required to provide a one page abstract that will be published in a Book of abstracts. The full papers accepted (possibly with coloured figures) will be included in the workshop CD ROM proceedings. Submitted documents must be in Portable Document Format (PDF).

Templates in Word and LaTex can assist authors in preparing their papers for publication on the workshop CD ROM proceedings and are available at the following link.

PDF Generation

Authors are required to submit both the draft and the final papers in PDF: no other formats are acceptable. In submitting a PDF of your paper, you will have the satisfaction of complete control over your output, and can use whatever programs you prefer to create your paper. In order to convert a document to PDF format, you must have the full version of Adobe Acrobat. The free browser plug-in, Adobe Acrobat Reader, permits a user to view and save a PDF file only. When generating the PDF file, set PDF Writer or Distiller to:

• include all fonts;
• generate a high-quality output file.

Check the new PDF document against your original document to ensure a successful conversion: we recommend viewing the new PDF on a different machine to find any errors your PDF may have. The file name should conform to the following example:

• Surname_draft.pdf for the draft paper
• Surname_final.pdf for the final paper

In case of multiple Authors, use:

• Surname1_Surname2_draft.pdf
• Surname1_Surname2_final.pdf

In case of multiple papers by the same Author(s):

• Surname_a_draft.pdf, Surname_b_draft.pdf,
• Surname_a_final.pdf, Surname_b_final.pdf

Full paper (draft due before March 2)
Both the draft and the final papers must be written according to the rules of following templates:

• Full paper Guidelines (.pdf Format) and Template (.doc Format) for MS Word Users.
• Full paper Guidelines (.pdf Format) and Template (.tex and .cls Files in a .zip Package) for LaTeX2e Users.

Abstract (for accepted papers, due before April 13)
The one page abstract must be written according to the rules of the following templates:

• Abstract Guidelines (.pdf Format) and Template (.doc Format) for MS Word Users.
• Abstract Guidelines (.pdf Format) and Template (.tex and .cls Files in a .zip Package) for LaTeX2e Users.
